PARADISE LOST? by Ken Heitz
It is down in man's history that we're of the air, the land, the sea, and the tree. Of all these things man can continue to be free. Man's not of the concrete, the steel, the asphalt, the iron. It's living with these the reason we're dying. For eternity too long too many bird songs are gone. Can life any sadder be for a boy never to climb a tree, smell the salt of the sea? A paradise lost- many cannot remember the peace in the valley in early September. Man's thought only of pleasures of what he can do, not sharing with others not even a few. It's of the air, the land, the sea, and the tree that man shall be. Earth's realness and beauty have patiently waited yet seem ill fated. The hope of our world lies only in our hands, from where do we go to find new lands? Perhaps when man sees what really is free, he'll let life restore what once was before.
